The new 308, the first model in the PEUGEOT product range to feature an illuminated logo that is a true brand signature, is stronger with its new front fascia and new three-claw light signature. The new PEUGEOT 308, which offers sufficient driving range for urban as well as intercity driving with its increased battery capacity, will hit the roads in Türkiye in the second half of 2026.
PEUGEOT, which has been an important player in the European C hatchback segment for decades, is preparing to launch the newly facelifted version of the 308 model, which is known for its unique design, driving pleasure and dynamic handling and is the most preferred in many countries, in Türkiye in the second half of 2026. The new PEUGEOT 308 takes driving pleasure to a whole new level with its magnificent design, unique driving dynamics, powertrain systems that offer freedom of choice, including the more efficient PEUGEOT E-308, and new service solutions. PEUGEOT offers the new PEUGEOT 308 model to suit market needs with four different engine options: electric, rechargeable hybrid, hybrid and diesel, and five equipment levels: Style, Allure, GT, GT Exclusive and Business. Designed in France and produced at the Mulhouse factory, the new PEUGEOT 308 expresses French excellence.
A first in PEUGEOT models: Illuminated front grille!
The new PEUGEOT 308 left a lasting impression with its assertive and elegant designs upon its launch. In addition, the new illuminated PEUGEOT logo, which was introduced, hits the roads with the new 308. The new 308 sheds light on the future with the illuminated logo used for the first time in the PEUGEOT product range. The PEUGEOT logo, illuminated for the first time, proudly emphasizes the identity of the brand throughout the renewed front design. Although not visible to the driver, the distance radar hidden behind the logo provides a high level of safety. The illuminated strips on the logo elegantly highlight the grille and support the strong stance of the car by extending the illumination of the PEUGEOT 308 towards the renewed headlights. This stance becomes even more evident with the reinforced shoulder line that starts from the headlights and extends to the front face. The trapezoidal structure of the lower part of the new bumper ensures that the new PEUGEOT 308 stands firmly on the road, and this is complemented by the air intakes at both ends. These air intakes at the ends of the bumper direct the air flow to the inside of the wheel arches, making the new PEUGEOT 308 the most aerodynamic model in its segment. While this optimization reduces fuel consumption, it contributes to optimizing the range in rechargeable hybrid and electric models.
The new front grille in body color integrates seamlessly into the entire vehicle. In addition, the strips in the grille design of the new PEUGEOT 308 are spaced in the middle and more frequently towards the sides. This application optimizes air flow while supporting the strong stance of the vehicle. At the GT equipment level, the illuminated front facade is offered as standard to further emphasize the unique character.
Eye-catching and impressive appearance
The impressive design of PEUGEOT 308 bears a unique light signature with three thin LED claws placed in the headlight area. This iconic signature with daytime running light and turn signal function (with sliding indicators on GT and GT Exclusive equipment levels) fully reflects the PEUGEOT identity.
To emphasize the impressive design of the new PEUGEOT 308, the dipped and main beam lighting functions, arranged in two horizontal sections on top of each other (low beam at the top, main beam at the bottom), are positioned lower. Thanks to these very compact modules, the headlights are discreetly integrated into the bumper and become almost invisible when stationary. In addition, the new headlights benefit from the new PEUGEOT FULL LED technology in Style, Business and Allure equipment levels, and PEUGEOT Matrix LED technology in GT and GT Exclusive equipment levels. At the rear, the new PEUGEOT 308 carries the impressive rear lighting signature at all equipment levels, with three oblique LED claws located on both sides of the elegant glossy black band above the PEUGEOT logo.
To support its customers’ transition to electric mobility, PEUGEOT offers a powerful powertrain with increased range in the new PEUGEOT E-308. It was rated as the most efficient car on the market after the E-208 in the German ADAC Ecotest 2024. This is another development that further increases the appeal of the PEUGEOT E-308. In the new E-308, the electric motor offering 115 kW power and 270 Nm torque provides dynamic acceleration. The electric motor is fed by a battery with a capacity of 400 Volt 58.3 kWh (55.4 kWh usable). Additionally, the regenerative braking system provides a smoother driving experience. The driver can adjust the regenerative braking system in 3 levels using the paddles behind the compact steering wheel. The atrium on the left increases the intensity and the atrium on the right decreases it.
The new PEUGEOT E-308 occupies a competitive position in its segment in this field with its increased range of 450 km (WLTP Combined Range). This performance, which brings an improvement of up to 34 km compared to previous models, was achieved with meticulous studies on efficiency. The model’s three-phase vehicle-integrated charger provides 11 kW power and is included in the standard equipment. Additionally, the charging socket is compatible with all charging modes. It is possible to charge the vehicle from 20% to 80% in 32 minutes with 100 kW fast charging at public charging points. The new PEUGEOT E-308 is equipped with the vehicle energy sharing (V2L) function, which allows the vehicle to transfer energy from its high-voltage battery to external electrical devices. Thus, for example, it is possible to charge an electric bicycle. The system can provide energy up to 3.5 kW and 16 A.
The new PEUGEOT 308 Plug-in Hybrid combines a 195 HP, 92 kW electric motor with a 150 HP 1.6-liter turbocharged four-cylinder internal combustion engine, providing a total power of 195 HP. The 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission e-DCS7 provides fast and smooth gear shifts. The second-generation rechargeable hybrid powertrain has a 17.2 kWh battery, enabling an additional driving range of 20 km and an all-electric range of 85 km (mixed WLTP cycle). Charging takes just 2 hours 05 minutes (7.4 kW charger) or 7 hours 25 minutes on a standard household socket (10 A, 2.3 kW).
