In our pure electric vehicle test drives in the Turkish market, our guest was Hyundai Kona Elektrik. I have performed the test drive of this vehicle, which is completely pure and only electric.

When we look at the product range and brands of electric vehicles in the Turkish market, Hyundai Kona really changed and upset all my ideas.

First of all, Kona is a model that has already been awarded in Europe as a design. In this sense, with its powerful design, I found the design really successful like an electric vehicle. Especially in the front and back of the international, it is well appealing to the eye. At the same time, as the hardware of the vehicle, the ceiling rails and the signal details in the mirrors and the blind spot warning system in the mirrors show that Kona has high equipment. It has a fluent and aerodynamic design.

When we look at the interior design of Hyundai Electric Kona, it is quite wide and spacious, and gives the perfect feeling for both the leading passengers and the rear sites. It is ensured that users are comfortable thanks to the spacious area structure that you have a pleasant and nice time without getting bored.

The electrical adjustment of the front seats in the interior design has everything in a vehicle, including all technical equipment and safety measures in Kona. The F1 gear pedals under the steering wheel are also included in these details. Both the lane tracking system and the autonomous steering driving, blind spot and rear maneuvers with pedestrian and movement recognition systems with the braking controls with the control of electric vehicles, we have seen whatever is available in Kona. The air conditioner of the vehicle is much more and more good work than it should be the music installation and the system is very good to offer more than those who can.

At the same time, the navigation system screen is very large, 2 cups of putting space, deep armrest area, many USB areas, 12volt outputs, telephone charging unit, etc. Of course, when using this tool, the most impressed me in design or hardware was ease of use and key gear shifts. In other words, with the key in 4 consoles, your finger movements allow you to move the vehicle in a very series by pressing only in the gear shifts. You can maneuver suddenly without losing a lot of time while doing the back. In this respect, it is very series. I like it.

There are also different “Drivemode” driving modes in the vehicle, of course, use of a very good electricity to use the vehicle in economic mode. You can also use normal or sport mode. In the sport mode, the screen is really hard on the steering wheel. Of course, the vehicle moves more aggressive and easily.

I think the vehicle’s display panel screen is very good. When the rear seats of the vehicle lie exactly, 60-40 percent of the back of the rear is a large loading area. Under the second baggage of the vehicle is the electrical charging cable. In contracted places, the vehicle completes its charging in full or 90 percent in an average of 2.5 hours in the fast charging unit. With its own charging cable, the vehicle is full in approximately 7 hours with long charge. Using 7.2 kW single -phase in -car charger, 9 hours and 15 minutes. When 100 kW correct current (DC) is used, Kona Elektrik’s lithium ion polymer battery can reach a charging level from 10 %to 80 %in approximately 47 minutes.

I think Kona’s driving performance is one of its competitors and its own segment. There is more of the driving. It has a very good acceleration in take -offs.

I even tried Kona by making a short performance drive with a BMW IX electricity model on a long road with sharp bend and sloping. Considering that the BMW IX model also used a good driver in its business and that the conditions are not equal, Kona did a very good job in this sense. It never compromised performance in this short fighting. The bends tried to hold up at high speeds as it should be. With the latest model BMW IX, he went to the head to the end.

Of course, with the full charge of Kona 425 km range can go. Even if we cannot compare Kona with a vehicle in the upper segment in all respects, the vehicle accelerates and accelerates on the slope up or flat surface. The vehicle is constantly accelerating and accelerating without losing its energy. Of course, this reveals the difference of electric vehicles and Kona.

In conclusion; Kona is the most accessible starting price in every sense and the vehicles that can be purchased in the electric vehicle market in Türkiye.
