Methodology:
Linkfluence’s ‘Search’ and ‘Radarly’ software was used to capture data from the last year (January 2020 – January 2021) to determine how many people across each country were talking about different car brands. We then used the advanced filters to focus on specific keywords e.g., ‘first car’ to ensure we only analysed posts of those talking solely about their first car. The top first car brands were then determined by analysing the overall number of posts. Please note, the percentage of the first car-related posts for each top brand is determined by the overall sum of the first car-related posts divided by the number of first car posts overall in each country.
