London, 9 May 2025 – OMODA&JAECOO UK has recognised its best-performing dealerships at the company’s first annual dealer awards. The event – held at a gala dinner at The Grove in Hertfordshire – celebrated the huge successes achieved by retailers with both the OMODA and JAECOO brands at the network’s 73 locations around the UK.
In total, nine awards were presented, reflecting the broad range of skills and attributes of individuals and teams within the OMODA&JAECOO UK sales network.
There were three Best Sales Performance Centre awards on offer, split by size of reach, with Toomey Brentwood picking up the Large Territory category. The business showcased exceptional sales prowess as it achieved 200% of its original objective for the year. Bassetts Swansea, whose dedication to success helped it excel in all sales areas and delivered 156% of its target, picked up the Medium Territory class. The third Best Sales Performance Centre was Drayton Motors Louth, which achieved 143% of its sales objective for the year to take home the Small Territory honour.
In the award’s EV Leadership category, Stoner Gillingham walked away with the top prize, impressing with its commitment to delivering outstanding OMODA EV sales of the all-electric E5. Meanwhile, Toomey Brentwood picked up its second award of the evening by winning the Aftersales Performance Award. The Essex dealership was the top performer in the network in the areas of service plan registrations, total parts purchases and technical support order engagement.
Other awards on the night saw dealers recognised for their impressive efforts around marketing, social media and fleet business. The Retail Marketing Excellence Award was claimed by Peoples Limited, whose marketing campaigns and initiatives and use of the full range of marketing channels were rewarded. In the Social Media Excellence Award, Wellington Motors was triumphant, having posted content around a range of topics and developed well-crafted, innovative social media campaigns. Brindley Garages claimed the Top Fleet Dealer Performance award thanks to its efforts in engaging with the fleet market for OMODA and JAECOO since the launch of the two brands in the UK.
The final winner of the night, for the Best Group Sales Overall Performance award, was Arnold Clark. The legendary Glasgow-headquartered dealer group saw each of its three OMODA&JAECOO businesses (Aberdeen, Linwood and Newcastle) achieve more than 150% of their sales objectives, with a combined performance of 266% against the target.
Commenting on the awards, Victor Zhang, UK Director, OMODA&JAECOO, said: “Our dealer network has been instrumental to the success that OMODA&JAECOO UK has achieved in our first year. The strong performances that have been recognised at the awards shows the strength in depth that we have across the 74 OMODA and JAECOO showrooms around the UK and also how hard work is rewarded. My congratulations and thanks go to all of the winners for their contribution to the success of our two expanding brands.”
OMODA&JAECOO UK’s first annual dealer awards included a gala dinner and Chinese opera, alongside the awards, which all took place at The Grove, a five-star hotel in Hertfordshire.
