MAN uses eTGX in cross-border inbound logistics

Using its own trucks in its own supply chain, MAN has made the commercial reliability of eTGX its responsibility. MAN Truck & Bus, together with its logistics partner JS Logistics, has deployed five fully electric eTGX trucks on cross-border inbound routes between Hungary and Germany, enabling the model to be used for supplier parts transport for the first time. The routes reach 520 km per stage, with two trucks changing trailers to manage the range on the longest corridor. A further three eTGX trucks operate through the Kirkel logistics center in Germany, providing consolidated freight service from France, Spain, Portugal, the United Kingdom and Ireland to MAN’s Munich and Nuremberg sites. The five vehicles were delivered at the MAN Truck Forum in Munich in June 2026. The deployment forms part of MAN’s incoming decarbonization program, which has been active since autumn 2024 and targets around 50 battery-electric trucks to enter service by mid-2026. The network covers up to 165 million km per year across Europe. Jerome Schüssler, Owner and Managing Director of JS Logistics, added: “Integrating the all-electric MAN eTGX into our transport processes is a milestone for our company.
