Hyundai Leaders Named to 2025 100 Leading Women in North America List by Automotive News
Two Hyundai executives, Claudia Márquez, COO, Hyundai Motor America and Olabisi Boyle, senior vice president product planning and mobility strategy, Hyundai Motor North America, have been named 2025 100 Leading Women by Automotive News. The prestigious recognition is given only once every five years by the publication. The recognition honors outstanding females who are leaders in the highly competitive automotive industry. This is the second time for both honorees to be named to the list, underscoring Hyundai’s commitment to cultivating strong leaders.

“Having not one but two female executives named 100 Leading Women by Automotive News signifies the level of leadership and expertise we have at Hyundai,” said Randy Parker, CEO, Hyundai Motor North America. “I am honored to see both Claudia and Olabisi continue to excel both personally and professionally under the Hyundai umbrella. Their abilities in furthering Hyundai’s success through their industry knowledge and commitment to innovation is driving not only Hyundai, but the entire industry forward.”
Márquez and Boyle, have been instrumental in Hyundai’s continued transformation, driving advancements in technology, customer experience, and brand strategy. Their leadership has strengthened Hyundai’s position as a global mobility leader, setting new benchmarks in electrification, sustainability, and digitalization.
Claudia Márquez, chief operating officer, Hyundai Motor America, leads U.S. business growth, operational excellence, and strategic initiatives, reinforcing Hyundai’s competitive edge in an evolving market. Previous to her current position at Hyundai, Claudia was the COO of Genesis Motor North America where she helped drive significant sales growth and developed a unique customer focus inspired by the brand’s distinctly Korean cultural heritage. She also increased the brand’ standalone U.S. retail network, creating a unique customer experience.
Olabisi Boyle, senior vice president, product planning and mobility strategy, Hyundai Motor North America, has played a crucial role in leading the strategic direction of Hyundai’s U.S. vehicle lineup and advancing Hyundai’s mobility ecosystem, championing cutting-edge technologies, connected services, and electrification initiatives that enhance the driving experience. She is on the board of IONNA, the high-powered EV charging network joint venture founded by seven major automakers, including Hyundai. She is also a member of the board of Braun Corporation and Braun Holdings, Inc., a leader in transportation solutions for those with mobility challenges.
Criteria for the 100 Leading Women in North America Automotive Industry includes candidates that must work in the auto industry in the U.S., Canada or Mexico, in a senior position of substantial responsibility and have had a major positive effect on their company’s operations. Automotive News has honored 100 Leading Women every five years since 2000; previous honorees were eligible for the 2025 list.
On May 19, Automotive News will profile the 100 Leading Women in a special section and they will be celebrated at a gala in Dearborn.
