Cosmobilis no longer owns En Voiture Simone. The group, chaired by Jean-Louis Mosca, has approved the sale of its online driving school operation to its main French rival Ornikar, as announced in a press release dated June 2, 2026.
The company En Voiture Simone, founded in 2015, was taken over by Ascom, the holding company that holds the assets of the automobile distribution group BYmyCAR, in order to diversify revenues in 2021. Five years later, the digital driving school is therefore leaving the Parisian group’s circle.
“We are proud of the journey with En Voiture Simone, which has become the number two digital driving school in a few years and is now profitable,” commented Jean-Louis Mosca. Supporting En Voiture Simone’s efficiency with the power of Ornikar will accelerate the transformation of the licensing market.”
As a matter of fact, at the end of this operation, Ornikar reinforces its position as the market leader in online driving training. In addition to having a market share of around 10%, the new group has around 280 employees, around 50 of whom are from En Voiture Simone.
Gateways with Bee2Link for dealers
Nor is Cosmmobilis completely separating itself from its former subsidiary. And rightly so, the negotiated agreement includes a component involving Bee2Link, the branch dedicated to the publication of digital solutions for dealers. The technical connection between the new Ornikar-En Voiture Simone combination and Bee2Link will continue to offer commercial opportunities to automotive distributors.
Obviously, all young licensees will be able to become customers not only of BYmyCAR group’s businesses, but also of distributors connected to the platform. The potential is interesting: The duo of driving schools see a million students pass the code every year and present more than 100,000 candidates for a licence. There are also 3,000 independent teachers who will express needs regarding vehicle purchasing and maintenance.
Finally, let us state that through this sale, the Cosmobilis group continues its restructuring project. It is now focused on automobile trading activities with BYmyCAR and Elite Auto, vehicle imports with HCI, short-term rentals with Ucar and software publishing with Bee2Link.
