BYD announces a strategic partnership with itTaxi, the main Italian application for booking and paying taxis which has over 12,000 associated vehicles in more than one hundred cities. At the heart of the agreement is a concrete innovation: the native integration of the itTaxi app directly into the on-board infotainment system of a selection of models from the Chinese tech company, developed together with moveax. This is the first native integration of this type on a car in Italy, designed to offer greater safety and continuity of experience without resorting to external devices. BYD together with itTaxi The app will be usable via on-board controls, allowing you to manage the main functions more immediately and safely, with your hands on the steering wheel and without distractions from driving, to the benefit of both the taxi driver and the passenger in terms of quality of service and on-board comfort. The partnership also includes dedicated commercial conditions for itTaxi members: discounts of up to 30% on a selection of BYD models that can be purchased through the official network in Italy and benefits of up to 20% on coupons and scheduled maintenance services at participating dealers, to support the professional use of the vehicle. News in on-board infotainment On the operational and promotional front, co-marketing activities are planned in the area, starting with an Open Day at the itTaxi headquarters in Rome, followed by test drives, training sessions on the vehicles and presentations of the project which will be planned at a national level. The integration will be available from April 1st on BYD SEAL 6 and Touring (Boost and Comfort trims), BYD SEAL U DM-i (Boost, Comfort, Design) and BYD SEALION 7 (Comfort, Excellence), with progressive extension to other models.
