Bora Duran: “Türkiye is becoming a strategic production center for Citroën”

Citroën Türkiye Brand Director Bora Duran emphasized that the fact that Berlingo will be produced in Türkiye is one of the important turning points in the history of the brand.

In his statement, Duran stated that this step is a strong indicator of Citroën’s trust in Türkiye and its domestic production infrastructure and used the following expressions:

“The fact that Citroën Berlingo, celebrating its 30th anniversary, will be produced in our Tofaş Factory in Türkiye is an extremely important milestone for us. This breakthrough is also an important indicator of the Citroën brand’s trust in our country and our production infrastructure. Turkey is not only a strong market for Citroën, but also an increasingly strategic production center.”

Referring to the production of Citroën Jumpy and Citroën Spacetourer, which were previously initiated within the scope of the K0 project, Duran stated that the inclusion of Berlingo in the production program is a natural continuation of this strategy.
