Ferrari introduced the new Handling Speciale package developed for its first four-door model, the Purosangue. With its re-adjusted suspension system, faster gear shifts and enhanced V12 engine sound, the model takes its performance-oriented driving character to the next level.
Italian sports car manufacturer Ferrari announced the new “Handling Speciale” configuration developed for the Purosangue model. The special package prepared for Purosangue, the brand’s first four-door and four-seat model, aims to maintain daily use comfort while making driving dynamics sharper.
The new configuration offers a sportier driving experience by combining Ferrari’s characteristic performance approach with versatile usage features.
Suspension System Recalibrated
One of the most striking innovations of the Handling Speciale package was the updates made to the active suspension system. Ferrari engineers enabled the vehicle to gain a more balanced and controlled driving character with new settings that reduced body movements by approximately 10 percent.
Thanks to this development, Purosangue responds faster to the driver’s commands, especially on winding roads and sudden direction changes. The increased sense of control and more direct responses significantly strengthen the sporty aspect of the model.
The Character of the V12 Engine is More Felt
Ferrari also re-optimized the gear shifting software. Especially in Manettino’s Race and ESC Off modes, faster and more stable gear shifts are offered, while a stronger thrust feeling is achieved during acceleration performance.
In manual mode, gear changes take on a more sporty character at engine speeds above 5,500 rpm. Thus, the interaction between the driver and the car is taken to a higher level.
The audio experience in the cabin has also been updated. The characteristic sound of the naturally aspirated V12 engine is felt more clearly, especially at the first start and during high acceleration.
Special Touches in Design
The Handling Speciale package is not limited to mechanical updates only. Ferrari also included special design details that distinguish the model from the standard Purosangue.
New diamond-cut wheels, carbon fiber side fender badges, matte black exhaust outlets, black “Prancing Horse” logo and satin-looking Ferrari lettering are among the prominent design elements of the package. In the interior, there is a special license plate for this version.
Ferrari Experience for Four
Ferrari Purosangue continues to present the traditional driving character of the brand in a different segment with its atmospheric V12 engine positioned at the front, transmission placed at the rear and living space for four people.
With the Handling Speciale package, the model maintains the dynamic driving feeling specific to Ferrari’s front-mid engine cars, without compromising on its large interior volume and ease of use.
7 Years of Maintenance Support Offered
For the Purosangue Handling Speciale, Ferrari continues to offer the seven-year Genuine Maintenance program that the brand offers across its entire product range.
Within the scope of the program, periodic maintenance operations carried out during the first seven years of the vehicle are covered by Ferrari. Maintenance services, performed with original spare parts, expert technicians and advanced diagnostic systems, are offered at authorized Ferrari services around the world.
This practice also includes second-hand Ferrari owners, strengthening the brand’s claim in after-sales services.
