Chery Sets New Record as Fastest Chinese Brand to Reach 1 Million Unit Exports!

Chery Group, China’s leading automotive exporter, reached sales of 281,161 units in October. NEV sales accounted for 110,346 of these units, while Chery Group exports exceeded 126,000, marking the sixth consecutive month of exceeding 100,000 units. Between January and October, Chery Group sold a total of 2,288,929 vehicles, marking a 13 percent growth year-over-year and breaking its sales record for the same period. The brand’s global user base now exceeds 18 million, 5.56 million of whom reside abroad.

Chinese automotive giant Chery Group, known for its sustainable development efforts, has announced its sales figures for October. Accordingly, the group’s sales reached 281,161 units in October, a 3.3 percent increase compared to the same period last year. Chery Group’s new energy vehicle (NEV) sales increased by 54.7 percent compared to the previous year, reaching 110,346 units. This marks the first time in Chery’s history that monthly NEV sales have surpassed 110,000 units.

In October, the group’s overseas shipments totaled 126,434 units. This figure, which represents a 13 percent increase year-on-year, also marks the sixth consecutive month that Chery Group has exceeded 100,000 units in exports. With total exports reaching 1,062,862 vehicles, Chery Group set a new record in the sector as the fastest Chinese automaker to surpass 1 million vehicle exports in a calendar year. Meanwhile, Chery Automobile Co., Ltd. achieved 263,466 sales in October, a 2 percent year-on-year increase. Between January and October, Chery Group sold a total of 2,288,929 vehicles, achieving 13 percent growth compared to the same period last year and breaking its sales record for the period.
