Ferrari wins in earnings
In the report of Liberty Media relating to 2025, it emerged that i annual revenues relating to Formula 1 have risen to 3.87 billion dollars. Of this figure, approximately 45% is paid to the teams in the form of cash prizes. The amount paid to each team is based on results of the last seasonplus one bonuses for teams in the top 3 in each of the last ten years. For Ferrari there is also a historical bonus of 5% for his participation in all the World Cups from 1950 to today. The precise sum paid to the teams is not public and is a secret kept between FOM and the teams, but the newspaper PlanetF1 has estimated the division of the $1.4 billion allocated to the racing teams.
Ferrari is therefore at the top, credited with $277.7 million, over half of which comes from historical bonuses and constructors’ placings over the past ten years.
McLaren, which won the 2025 world championship, is only in fourth place: 147.1 million dollars guaranteed from last year’s success (14% of the total) and 18.7 million from the placings of the last decade.
