London, United Kingdom: Jameel Motors UK has appointed Zoe Tonks as Head of Sales for Farizon UK to help accelerate the development of the business after a successful introduction to the UK market. With immediate effect, Tonks will lead Farizon UK’s sales team, and reports to Calum James, General Manager of Farizon UK.
Tonks brings a wealth of experience from the automotive retail sector, having spent 14 years at Marshall Motor Group, where she progressed to Head of Corporate Sales, as well as OEM operations, with her most recent role as Head of Fleet at Harris Maxus UK.
Tonks commented: “Joining a new brand at such an early stage of its journey in the UK is an exciting challenge. Zoe is not the only addition to Farizon’s growing footprint in the UK. Jameel Motors UK has just appointed Brian Currie (Milton Keynes) Ltd as its latest franchised dealer. Like Farizon’s other franchised dealers – SMV Commercials and Heathrow Van Centre – Brian Currie (Milton Keynes) Ltd is an established commercial vehicle specialist, having sold and serviced vans from its site on Summerson Road for over forty years. With its own retail space in Park Royal, North London, the addition of Brian Currie (Milton Keynes) Ltd takes Farizon’s UK sales and service network to four dealer sites, spread geographically from Yeovil in the South West, to London and now up the M1 corridor.
Calum James added: “Zoe is going to be a real asset to the team, bringing valuable experience from both sides of the manufacturer-retailer relationship. She’s demonstrated strategic and commercial acumen and extensive senior leadership credentials. At the same time, we’re delighted to welcome Brian Currie (Milton Keynes) Ltd to the Farizon family, with its years of commercial vehicle experience and strong customer base in and around Milton Keynes. These are two great appointments which will help us to sustainably grow sales for the Farizon SV in the UK.”
