The FW48 is carrying out a filming day. Team principal James Vowles had declared that the roadmap would have included the presence of Williams in Bahrain for the first test session complete with a filming day as an appetizer and so it was. The Williams FW48 took to the track today in Bahrain to carry out general tests ahead of its testing debut tomorrow. The Grove team missed the Barcelona Shakedown due to some unforeseen issues with the schedule, but will be back on track as usual from tomorrow. Carlos Sainz and Alexander Albon will thus discover the FW48 and the Mercedes power unit. According to rumours, Williams will above all have to check on issues relating to weight, but there is great curiosity to see in action the car designed by the team capable of finishing fifth in the Constructors’ standings in 2025 with two podiums to its credit achieved by Sainz in Baku and Qatar.
