A new-old helmet for Charles Leclerc Charles Leclerc is preparing for a 2026 Formula 1 season which, according to various rumors that have been going around for some time now, could also be decisive for his future at Ferrari. While waiting to know the colors and shapes of the SF-26 and above all to turn on the new Cavallino power unit to cover the first km – the appointment is for Friday 23 January as per tradition on the “home” track, in Fiorano complete with a subsequent shakedown – the Monegasque driver also reveals the new livery of his helmet for the next World Championship. A color that, a bit like in the classic Ferrari style, does not differ too much from previous versions but rather continues in the name of stylistic continuity. Thus, red is still and always the basic color, with white remaining predominant in the lower part of Charles Leclerc’s new helmet, ideally recomposing the design of the flag of the Principality of Monaco. A design that the 28-year-old also replicates in the center of the shell, with a white and a red stripe that stand out against the red background. The novelty: light blue lines to celebrate Monte Carlo And while the SF-26 is preparing to show a color probably a little whiter than usual – as can be seen from the suits of Charles and Lewis Hamilton, unveiled in recent days and which feature much more white (especially in the collar and shoulder area) compared to the 2025 version – Leclerc’s helmet also has some small but significant stylistic innovations, which are above all in the thin inserts in the so-called “baby blue” light blue which are found a a little over the entire colored surface of the helmet. Also in this case the reference to the Principality of Monaco is evident, given that this very light shade of light blue is also the basis of the color of the caps and special tracksuit that Charles Leclerc wore last year in Monte Carlo. However, the one shown on social media is only a basic version of the helmet, which will probably change over the course of the season given the now consolidated trend among drivers to create tribute liveries in some particular GPs of the F1 calendar.
