Turkish Vehicle After-Sales Services sector came together within the scope of TOBFED 5th Ordinary General Assembly and Sectoral Sharing Meeting. Deputy Minister of Trade Mahmut Gürcan, Istanbul Deputy Governor Cengiz Karabulut, Istanbul Chamber of Commerce President ŞekibAvdagiç, members of parliament and senior representatives of MYK, TSE, TOBB, İŞKUR and MEB attended the meeting. The meeting, which included the board members of 13 sectoral associations under the umbrella of TOBFED, provided an important basis for establishing a common vision and strong cooperation throughout the sector.
Commenting at the meeting TOBFED President Serkan Bakırtaşused the following statements:

“TOBFED 5th Ordinary General Assembly and Sectoral Sharing Meeting is not just a meeting where elections and presentations take place. This meeting is planned as a working ground based on the exchange of ideas that shapes the future of the sector. Educational and professional documents
Expansion of training and MYK certifications for new generation professions such as electric vehicle technician, battery specialist and ADAS systems.
Women and youth employment
Strengthening social and economic benefits by increasing the employment of women and youth in the sector.
Digitalization and formal economy
Developing service data standards, disseminating digital warranty documents and strengthening transparent audit mechanisms.
Sustainability and environmentally friendly practices
Accelerating green transformation with water recycling technologies, energy efficiency and electric vehicle maintenance infrastructure.
Public-private collaboration
Institutionalization of strong coordination mechanisms for the rapid solution of sectoral problems and the implementation of new projects.
Occupational safety and technical standards
Prioritizing the development of safety standards to prevent accidents occurring at electric vehicle charging stations.
Bakırtaş concluded his statements with the following words:
