Renault finished 2025 as the third fastest-growing brand in true fleet in the UK, with volume up 68% year-on-year and more than doubled over two years
Dacia more than doubled true fleet sales
Alpine was the UKs fastest-growing premium brand
Renault LCV is third in the UK true fleet market (excluding pick-ups)
New EV product launches including Renault Twingo, Renault Trafic E-Tech and Alpine A390 will further strengthen the Renault Group offer for UK fleets in 2026

Renault Group delivered its strongest true fleet sales performance for over a decade in the UK in 2025, with increasing demand lifting the Renault brand to become the third fastest-growing player in the true fleet sector, with market share growing from 1.6% to 2.5%. Crucially, this ranks Renault as the fastest-growing established manufacturer behind only new-entrant brands.
Alongside leveraging the strengths of the highly varied Renault, Dacia, and Alpine product offerings, which combined won over 100 UK industry awards in 2025, Renault Group progress has also been driven by a growing focus on relationships. Renault Group has invested heavily in its UK fleet operation in recent years, with an expanded specialist team working closely with customers, partners and retailers to support fleets across cars and vans. Industry recognition of this progress in 2025, included ‘Manufacturer of the Year’ and ‘Most Improved Fleet Manufacturer’ awards.
While Renault’s electric icons – the Renault 5 E-Tech electric and Renault Scenic E-Tech have both ramped up quickly in fleet, they sit alongside strong and consistent demand for hybrid and ICE Clio, Symbioz and Trafic Passenger models. These five Renault passenger car models each recorded more than 2,000 fleet sales, underlining the range’s breadth of segment coverage and appeal.
Electric vehicles played an increasingly important role as Renault EV fleet volumes rose to 46% of total mix, but Renault’s approach has remained deliberately balanced. Hybrid and combustion models continue to account for a significant share of fleet demand, reflecting the varied needs of customers and reinforcing Renault’s position as a brand that offers choice rather than forcing transition.
That portfolio strength extends right across the Renault Group. Dacia more than doubled its fleet sales, with models such as Sandero, Spring and Duster proving compelling fleet decision maker choices wherever both optimum value and durability are important, while Alpine recorded the fastest growth of any premium brand in the UK.
In 2025’s light commercial vehicle sector, Renault finished third in terms of market share, excluding rental and pick-ups. With established fleet favourites such as Master, Kangoo and Trafic continuing to earn trust with operators, New Renault Trafic E-Tech electric will build upon that credibility when planned ordering opens later this year.
Likewise, the Alpine A390 sports fastback will provide something new and exciting to company car buyers and users in the year ahead, the all-electric SUV complementing the A290 – the iconic brand’s first ever electric model.
Justin Costello, Head of Fleet, Renault UK, said: “What we’re seeing is a change in how fleets are perceiving Renault Group. We benefit from one of the freshest model line-ups in the industry, with designs that are characterful, offer great driving dynamics, technology and value. Our team are working hard to make it easy for customers to experience and buy Renault Group products – with one contact and one agreement to cover our entire portfolio of award-winning brands and models. Subsequently, customers are selecting from across the range, whether that’s electric, hybrid or ICE, cars or vans. Our focus is on continuing to support that choice, introducing exciting new models in new segments, and ensuring we deliver the right level of service across our team and our extensive retailer network.”
With sustained growth across passenger cars and vans, established models and new electric arrivals, Renault Group enters the next phase of fleet development with a broader, stronger and more compelling offer for UK fleets.
