
Türkiye’s total automobile and light commercial vehicle market decreased by 3.94% in the January-March period of 2026 compared to the same period of the previous year, reaching 265,398 units. Renault’s strong model range left its mark on the market in the first quarter of 2026 and was among the top 5 best-selling models in the entire market with 2 models.
While Clio became the most preferred model in the entire market with sales of 14,941 units, Megane became the 4th best-selling model in the market with sales of 7,912 units.

The strong performance in the SUV segment also attracted attention. While Renault Duster became the third most preferred SUV model with sales of 5,708 units, it also ranked second in the C-SUV segment. Renault became one of the most preferred brands in this segment with the sales of 8,626 SUVs in the January-March period.
Dacia is Even More Assertive with its New Product Range
Dacia will continue its growth in the second half of the year with its renewed product range and accessible mobility approach.

The new Dacia Sandero Stepway is offered with an EDC dual-clutch automatic transmission and dual-fuel ECO-G 120 engine. With a range of up to 1500 km and a consumption value of approximately 2.5 TL per km, it provides savings of up to 30% compared to models with automatic transmission. The versatile family car Dacia Jogger draws attention with its range of up to 1400 km and luggage volume of 2,094 liters. It stands out as the only 7-seat model in its segment. Dual fuel ECO-G 120 engine; It is offered with manual and dual-clutch automatic transmission options. There is also a 6-speed manual gasoline engine alternative. It is equipped with advanced driving support systems, a 10” multimedia screen and a 7” digital instrument panel connected to My Dacia. Thanks to its modular structure with 2, 5 and 7 seats, it easily adapts to different needs. It continues to offer an economical and practical solution for families.
With the new Logan Sedan, which will be added to its product range in May, Dacia aims to further increase its claim in the market.
Expanding Product Range and New Models
Renault aims to further its leadership in the Turkish market by strengthening its product range with strategic new models in 2026.
Clio, one of the most preferred models in Türkiye with its previous generation, met with its customers in February with its 6th generation. Produced at Oyak Renault Automobile Factories and exported to world markets, Clio continues to reinforce its strong position both locally and globally.
Scenic E-Tech Electric, which will be available for sale in April, takes the brand’s electric mobility vision to the next level, and is preparing to redefine the brand’s claim in the SUV segment with the launch of the Renault Boreal, produced in Türkiye, in June. Produced at Oyak Renault Automobile Factories, Boreal will be the symbol of an important production and export move not only for the Turkish market but also on a global scale.
