Renault further strengthened Türkiye’s strategic position in the global production network by deciding to produce the new C-SUV model Boreal at OYAK Renault Automobile Factories in Bursa.
The addition of Renault Boreal to the domestic production portfolio after Megane Sedan, Clio and Duster increases Türkiye’s role in high value-added vehicle production and makes Bursa an important center for the export of the model to international markets.
While Boreal plays a critical role in Renault’s growth strategy, especially in the C and D segments, Türkiye stands out as one of the important production bases in the brand’s global operations.
Powerful and Modern SUV Design
New Renault Boreal draws attention with its strong SUV character that reflects the brand’s new design language.
The model, with a length of 4.56 meters and a wheelbase of 2.70 meters, is among the assertive players in its segment with its large living space and luggage volume reaching 630 liters.
The new generation “Nouvel’R” logo, slim LED headlights, body-coloured front grille and light signature inspired by the Niagara concept complete the modern appearance of the model.
19-inch alloy wheels, black roof and panoramic glass roof strengthen Boreal’s premium perception.
Digital and Comfortable Interior
Technology and comfort are prioritized in the cabin of Renault Boreal.
The model comes with a 10-inch digital instrument panel and a 10-inch openR link multimedia screen. Thanks to the Google integrated system, users can directly access Google Maps, Google Assistant and Google Play services.
48-color ambient lighting, electric and massage function driver’s seat, dual-zone automatic air conditioning and wireless charging unit are among the prominent features of the interior.
When the rear seats are folded down, the luggage volume can increase up to 1,868 liters.
Google Powered Connected Technologies
New Boreal also reveals Renault’s claim in connected vehicle technologies.
Applications such as YouTube, Spotify, Prime Video, Waze and Vivaldi can be accessed via the openR link system. Thanks to OTA (remote update) support, vehicle software can be kept up to date.
Features such as vehicle location display and remote light and horn control are also offered via the My Renault application.
The model also features a 10-speaker Harman Kardon premium sound system developed in collaboration with Jean-Michel Jarre.

Renault Boreal also draws attention with its advanced safety technologies.

Hybrid and Gasoline Engine Options
Renault Boreal will be offered for sale in Türkiye with two different engine options.
The 1.3-liter turbo TCe engine at the entry level produces 145 HP power and is combined with a 6-speed dual-clutch EDC transmission.
The prominent version of the model will be the full hybrid E-Tech system with 160 HP power. The system, which uses the hybrid engine produced in Bursa, offers up to 80 percent electric driving in the city.
According to WLTP data:
Full Hybrid E-Tech 160 HP: 4.8 l/100 km consumption, 108 g/km CO₂
TCe EDC 145 HP: It draws attention with its 6.6 lt/100 km consumption and 149 g/km CO₂ values.
