Refreshed 2026 Chevy Tracker Launched In Mexico

General Motors has just officially launched the refreshed 2026 Chevy Tracker in Mexico, four months after the first international debut of the updated crossover in Brazil.

The automaker’s Mexican subsidiary is bringing the latest variant of Chevrolet’s subcompact crossover to the country’s domestic market with a new positioning within the brand’s massive local portfolio of utility vehicles. As such, the 2026 Chevy Tracker takes on a rather unique role in Mexico with a significant price increase that almost places it in the compact crossover segment.

“The Chevrolet Tracker is one of the most iconic subcompact SUVs in its segment,” said Marketing Manager for Chevrolet at GM Mexico, Ángel Pacheco. “Its legacy of more than five years on the market positions it as a favorite among customers looking for an SUV that provides confidence and reliability for their daily commutes,” he added.

The refreshed 2026 Chevy Tracker arrives in Mexico with an initial lineup of LT and Premier trim levels – both featuring understated styling with glossy finishes. The updated model introduces a new interior design with enhanced technology and safety features, including a new infotainment system and a full suite of advanced driver assistance systems as standard on the Premier variant.

Mechanically, the 2026 Chevy Tracker retains the turbocharged 1.2L I3 gasoline engine that produces 132 horsepower and 140 pound-feet of torque, paired with a six-speed automatic transmission as standard equipment on both trims. The powertrain is characterized by its high fuel efficiency, particularly in urban driving.

The refreshed 2026 Chevy Tracker is now available for sale at Chevrolet dealerships in Mexico, with units imported from the GM São Caetano do Sul plant in Brazil. Customers can choose from six different exterior colors and two interior color options, depending on the trim level, and personalize their vehicle with a line of 40 official accessories.
