PETRONAS Lubricants (PLI) took part in the 2025 Turin Motor Show, held between 26-28 September, with a stand in Piazza Castello (Via Garibaldi). For three days full of events, special events and experiences designed to bring together visitors, enthusiasts and professionals; The past, present and future of mobility, the Selenia brand and the deep ties between Turin and the Piedmont region were celebrated.
The PETRONAS stand was a truly interactive space, offering gaming and technology experiences connected to the world of mobility, from the Virtual Pit Stop to the Reaction Game competition to the driving simulator of the Monza Formula 1 circuit. Beyond entertainment, visitors had the opportunity to discover the latest innovations in lubricants and smart fluids that are vital in motorsport racing and sustainable mobility. Discussions with PETRONAS Lubricants experts informed the participants about the journey that carries from the Fiat Lubrificanti legacy to today’s cutting-edge technologies.

PETRONAS Lubricants held a press conference for the relaunch of Selenia, an oil brand with a strong history created for Italian automobiles. The renewed brand has been designed to be ready for the challenges of modern mobility. PETRONAS Lubricants EMEA Regional Manager Giuseppe Pedretti and EMEA Regional Marketing, Commercial Excellence and Customer Services Manager Samantha Burello introduced the rebranding process of the well-established brand and conveyed new growth strategies to maintain its leading position in the highly competitive fluids and lubricants market.
Simultaneously with the opening of the fair, PETRONAS Italy opened the doors of its headquarters in Santena-Villastellone for the Open Day event organized in cooperation with Turismo Torino and Provincia. Visitors had the chance to experience a journey combining tradition and innovation by visiting the PETRONAS Global Research and Technology Centre, manufacturing facility and Heritage Highlights museum.
“113 FIAT 500” Meets Art with “Eko500 Project”
For three days, PETRONAS Lubricants (PLI)’s Global Research and Technology Center hosted Piedmontese artist Gianni Depaoli’s Eko500 Project. This project made it part of the Organic Garbage Art project, which reinterprets the FIAT 500 as a symbol of multiculturalism, sustainability and biodiversity.
A historic Fiat 500 exhibition took place at the stand in Piazza Castello, while 113 collectible Fiat 500s set off for Turin from the PETRONAS Lubricants European headquarters in Santena. 10 of them reached La Pista 500 in Lingotto, while the remaining 103 stopped at Corso Cairoli and presented themselves to Motor Show visitors. This event was designed as part of the impressive parade of historic Fiat 500s organized in collaboration with Fiat 500 Club Italia.
PETRONAS Lubricants Italian Academy: A bridge to Italy
Finally, the PETRONAS Lubricants Italy Academy, which will start in October, was also introduced during the Motor Show. This initiative, which was born in Italy to select, train and integrate new sales people into the national distribution network, aims to help PETRONAS Lubricants’ customers find a qualified, motivated and passionate sales team.
