High energy efficiency provided by EcoContact 7; It is powered by renewed rubber compound and Continental’s Smart Energy Casing technology. This technology reduces rolling resistance by reducing internal friction thanks to new materials used in the carcass, inner lining and sidewall structure of the tire. The aerodynamically optimized sidewall design further increases efficiency. By combining various technologies, including an “aerodimple” structure inspired by the surface of golf balls, Continental was able to reduce air turbulence and reduce the energy required for movement.
