New Peugeot E-208 GTi Introduced: 281 HP Power, 100 km/h in 5.5 Seconds
Peugeot introduced the production version of the new E-208 GTi model at the 24 Hours of Le Mans. E-208 GTi, the brand’s first fully electric GTi model, draws attention with its 281 HP power, 345 Nm torque and 0-100 km/h acceleration performance of 5.5 seconds.
The new model, which carries the GTi legend into the electric age, appeals to performance-oriented drivers with its infrastructure developed by Peugeot Sport and its sporty design.

Appeared at Le Mans
Peugeot unveiled the production version of the E-208 GTi, which it introduced as a concept in 2025, for the first time at Le Mans. While celebrating its 100th anniversary in the Le Mans 24 Hours race, the brand introduced three E-208 GTi models to visitors.
The new model combines the performance tradition that started 40 years ago with the Peugeot 205 GTi with electric mobility.
281 HP Power and 375 Km Range
Developed by Peugeot Sport engineers, the E-208 GTi is powered by the M4+ electric engine produced at the Trémery facility in France.

80-120 km/h: 3.2 seconds
Maximum speed: 180 km/h
With a battery with a gross capacity of 54 kWh, the model offers a range of 352 to 375 kilometers according to WLTP norms, depending on the tire used.

The new Peugeot E-208 GTi can be fully charged in 4 hours and 40 minutes with a 7.4 kW AC Wallbox.
Thanks to 100 kW DC fast charging support, the battery level can be charged from 20 percent to 80 percent in under 30 minutes.
The model also supports connected services such as V2L technology, smart route planner and remote charging management via the MyPeugeot app.

With its 281 HP power, 5.5 seconds acceleration and Peugeot Sport signature infrastructure, the new E-208 GTi stands out as an assertive alternative in the electric hot hatch segment. The model aims to carry the brand’s iconic GTi heritage into a fully electric future.
