Eşarj, a 100 percent subsidiary of Enerjisa Enerji and Türkiye’s first electric vehicle charging network operator, opened its new charging station in Izmir Aliağa, taking into account user demands in line with its customer experience-oriented approach. The Aliağa location, which was determined by evaluating the suggestions from more than 12 thousand customers within the scope of the ‘Suggest Location’ project, is a current example of Eşarj’s vision of shaping its investments directly according to user needs.
Eşarj, the company of firsts, has been implementing innovative practices that improve customer experience since the day it was founded in 2008. As a concrete outcome of its new project in this direction, it put its new 180kW fast charging station into service in Izmir Aliağa.

Eşarj, which collected requests from various platforms with the location suggestion form it shared with its users, evaluated the suggestions offered by more than 12 thousand users. Aliağa location, one of the most requested locations among the suggestions, was also chosen to respond to Izmir’s increasing need for electric vehicle charging stations. In this respect, the station established in Izmir Aliağa stood out as an investment that directly responds to the needs of electric vehicle users and is shaped together with them.

The opening event of the new station was held with a special connection. A live connection was made from the Eşarj stand at the 15th Türkiye Energy Summit held in Istanbul to the new DC fast station in Aliağa, Izmir. Making the opening speech on the stage at the summit, Eşarj General Manager Yakup Aydilek, accompanied by participants from the public, press and business world attending the summit, connected with the Eşarj managers at the station and the customers who voted for the Aliağa station.
Yakup Aydilek: Our customers’ demands determine our road map
Inaugurated the charging station in Izmir with a live link from the energy summit held in Istanbul. Eşarj General Manager Yakup Aydilek: “As Eşarj, our most important guide when planning our growing charging infrastructure is the real field insights and expectations from our customers. Thanks to the ‘Suggest Location’ project we developed with this understanding, we have had the opportunity to shape our investments directly according to user demands. Opening our new station in Izmir Aliağa, one of the points with the highest demand in practice, is a good result of this common mind we have created with our customers. Our goal is to provide a fast, reliable charging experience that facilitates the journeys of electric vehicle users and offers the same quality at every point.” Our data-oriented management approach, our investments in high-speed charging technologies, our smart charging solutions and our constantly renewed mobile application are shaped in line with this goal. We not only offer a fast and accessible charging network with our infrastructure that works entirely with renewable energy sources, but also take an active role in the construction of a more sustainable future by contributing to Türkiye’s energy transformation. Our new station in Aliağa is a concrete reflection of this vision. As we continue to shape the future of electric mobility together with our customers on the axis of technology, digitalization and sustainability. “We are very proud to play a critical role.” made his assessment.
