Hyundai Auto Canada breaks new ground, names Jessica Todd as Director of Sales

Hyundai Auto Canada broke new ground today, announcing the appointment of Jessica Todd as Director of Sales, the first woman at Hyundai Canada to oversee all sales activities, while leading and forecasting strategic sales plans to support Hyundai Canada’s business objectives. Todd will report to Steve Flamand who was named Hyundai Canada president CEO on Monday.

Todd’s career has been a steady path of increasing responsibility since she joined Hyundai Canada in 2007, holding a number of progressive roles, in the areas of: national vehicle distribution, field operations, district sales operations; national sales operations; regional operations; incentives strategy leading to her previous role as national manager of sales.

Todd is one of the founders of Hyundai’s first-ever Employee Resource Group — Women@HAC — working tirelessly to empower and support women at Hyundai Canada. Her dedication to fostering an inclusive and supportive environment has contributed significantly to the positive, award-winning workplace culture Hyundai Canada and its employees enjoy. Todd’s accomplishments and impact on Hyundai Auto Canada were recognized by her leaders and by Automotive News Canada when she was named a “Canadian to Watch” in 2021.

Jessica Todd holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Ontario Tech University and will continue to work out of Hyundai Canada’s national headquarters in Markham, Ontario.
