Honda at Beijing 2026: electric S7, HR-V and CR-V SUV stand out

In addition to the HR-V and CR-V, Honda showcased its new S7 electric crossover at Beijing 2026. An SUV series combining gasoline and electrification.
Honda presented a diverse exhibition at the 2026 Beijing Auto Show covering cars, motorcycles, power equipment and aerospace advancements. The brand showcased several key SUV models, including the new S7 electric crossover, as well as the HR-V and CR-VA Krivonosov. The first big introduction was the Honda S7. This electric crossover has a modern design: slim LED headlights, closed front grille and striking rear end with a light bar that spans the entire width. Inside, there is a digital instrument cluster and a large vertical touchscreen for the infotainment system. The model targets the growing electric vehicle segment in China. Krivonosov for Honda HR-V is positioned as a compact crossover aimed at the mass market. It retains the traditional grille, updated lighting and controlled design. As shown, the model is equipped with a 1.5-litre petrol engine producing approximately 134 HP, coupled to a CVT.A transmission. Krivonosov for the larger Honda CR-V also took part in the exhibition. It retains its familiar silhouette but has a revamped façade and more modern lighting. The CR-V remains a key family-oriented model in the Honda lineup. Overall, Honda’s presence at the 2026 Beijing Auto Show underlines its SUV strategy, ranging from traditional gasoline models to new electric models.
