Kia UK Limited welcomes Georgia Brown to its highly acclaimed PR team, joining in a new role of Events Coordinator. Georgia will work under the supervision of Milissa Ordoña, Senior Events Coordinator; and will report directly to Kia UK’s Head of Press & Public Relations, Daniel Sayles.
In the newly created role of Events Coordinator, Georgia will become a familiar face and name to UK journalists, offering key support on media-facing events and activities including new product launches, drive days, tailored media activities and attendance to European and global organised events.
Georgia brings with her a wealth of experience, having already worked at Kia UK for a number of years prior to this latest move into the world of PR. Her appointment comes at an exciting time for the brand, as Kia prepares for one of its busiest years to date with the launch of the EV4, EV5, and first foray into the world of electric commercial vehicles with the PV5. Among other events and launches, Kia will also continue its attendance to, and hosting of, crucial media drive days throughout the calendar year.
Georgia commented: “Joining such a well-established team is an opportunity I am incredibly excited about, and I’m looking forward to getting further accustomed to the world of media-facing events. The dynamic and fast-paced environment of PR is incredibly appealing to me, and I am excited to deliver enjoyable, interesting and unique events; and I hope to continue to offer the high levels of service which the Kia team has become known for.”
Daniel Sayles, Head of Press & Public Relations, added: “I am delighted to welcome Georgia to the team, particularly as we gear up to a series of important launches and events this year. Georgia will play a vital role in the team and will help us maintain the industry-leading standards and service we have always sought to offer the media. Working alongside the rest of the team, I am sure that Georgia will also be central to delivering more excellent events and hosted opportunities.”
