Genesis and Genesis Inspiration Foundation promote steam learning in Chicago

Creation and Genesis Inspiration Foundation Strengthened science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics (STEAM) education in Chicago by expanding access to creative learning experiences. Creation GivesGenesis Motor America’s corporate social responsibility initiative hosted a hands-on STEAM workshop for students at True Value Boys & Girls Club. The Genesis Inspiration Foundation also donated $25,000 to Creative Netwerk, a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting unity, empowerment, and healing through the arts.

“Giving students opportunities to create and explore helps unlock new ways of thinking,” said Brandon Ramirez, director of corporate social responsibility at Genesis Motor America and board member of the Genesis Inspiration Foundation. “At Chicago, we are proud to support the next generation through STEAM learning and dance education as they continue to explore their interests and shape their futures.”

At True Value Boys & Girls Club, Genesis hosted a Kids Creativity Lab STEAM workshop that taught students the fundamentals of automotive design and innovation. After learning about product development and taking an interactive look at the all-electric Genesis GV60, students created their own future mobility concept using upcycled materials.
