AGMC, the official distributor of Geely vehicles in the UAE, has announced the launch of the latest evolution of Geely Starray – the striking SUV – which is now enhanced with an advanced 4WD drivetrain for unmatched stability and all-terrain performance. Featuring a robust 2.0TD powertrain and head-turning design, the Starray 4WD is engineered to conquer a variety of road and weather conditions with ease, blending off-road confidence with the sophistication and comfort of a premium SUV.
Solidifying its presence in the fast-growing SUV segment, this new 4WD variant carries forward the brand’s new design language while including the latest in smart technologies. “Starray” symbolises “a galaxy of stars”, reflecting the brand’s focus on exploration, adventure and limitless possibilities for this model.
The 4WD Starray version is designed for those who see every journey as an opportunity for discovery. It is powered by a 2.0TD turbocharged engine paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission, delivering responsive shifts and a smooth power flow. The high-performance engine generates up to 238 hp and 350 Nm of torque, offering confident acceleration whether tackling city traffic or challenging off-road terrain. The advanced 4WD system can intelligently distribute torque between the front and rear axles, ensuring grip and stability even in sand, gravel or wet conditions.
Inside, the Starray offers the most spacious interior in its segment, thanks to a generous 2,777mm wheelbase. The refined cabin features air-sofa super-sensitive seats for exceptional comfort, a 13.2-inch central touchscreen with 2K resolution, a 10.25-inch LCD cluster with head-up display, Harman Infinity deluxe headrest audio, and music-responsive ambient lighting.
An intelligent voice assistant, smartphone mirroring and wireless charging make everyday journeys more connected, while a panoramic sunroof floods the cabin with natural light, adding to its sense of space and openness. The rear seats can be folded completely flat to unlock up to 1,610 litres of storage, perfect for larger gear and adventure equipment.
With a host of safety and driver assistance technologies include Traffic Sign Recognition, Highway Assist, Lane Keep Assist, Blind Spot Detection and Rear Cross Traffic Alert, boosted by a 360-degree HD camera system with transparent chassis view to navigate tight spaces or off-road obstacles.

Design-wise, the Starray complemented by distinctive Particle Ray headlights and a Flying Arrow taillight design for enhanced visibility. The ultramodern SUV comes in five distinctive colours – black, silver, white, blue and forest green – and rides on bold 20-inch alloy wheels. Its sculpted aerodynamic lines are enhanced by Geely’s signature Energy Storm front fascia, while the rear features a sleek tailgate spoiler for improved stability at speed.
This launch marks a storied year for Geely AGMC, seeing the launch of Geely EX5 EV, the Monjaro SUV and Cityray SUV, as well as a host of new showroom openings including its flagship facilities on Sheikh Zayed Road in Dubai and on Airport Road in Abu Dhabi, as well as a showroom in Al Ain.
