Geely introduced its first robotaxi at the Beijing Auto Show: level 4 autonomy

Geely introduced its first robotaxi, a Level 4 autonomous minivan with a futuristic design, at the Beijing Auto Show. This will be the first fully autonomous Chinese vehicle produced in the country.

Naumkin, Tarantas.News The Geely robotaxi’s digital architecture and hardware set are designed to achieve level 4 autonomy. This means that in most cases the electronics can make driving decisions on their own. Still, the company plans to maintain traditional controls over the autonomous vehicle. It is worth noting that officially autonomous vehicles at this level do not yet have access to Chinese public roads.
