A senior level appointment has been made at Borusan Cat, one of the Borusan Group companies, effective as of April 2026. Borusan Cat’s Chairman of the Executive Board will be Fuat Murat, who previously served as the Executive Board Member Responsible for the Construction Industry.
“We Create Solutions for a Better World” With the appointment made in the management team of Borusan Cat, which continues its operations in Türkiye as well as in the Caucasus and Central Asia for the purpose of the company, Fuat Murat, the company’s Executive Board Member Responsible for the Construction Industry, will begin to serve as the Chief Executive Officer as of April 2026. Özgür Günaydın, who served as Borusan Cat Chief Executive Officer in the previous period, will continue to serve as Borusan Group CEO as of April 2026.
Fuat Murat, who joined Borusan Cat in 1994, carried out different leadership roles in the fields of sales, marketing and customer support in his Borusan Cat career and served as Turkey Country General Manager, and played a critical role in the establishment of the Georgia representative office. Murat, who was appointed as the Executive Board Member Responsible for the Construction Industry in 2020, demonstrated sustainable success by leading important initiatives such as the profitable growth of the Construction Industry in his last role. He demonstrated leadership that accelerated the digital transformation process of the institution by directing strategic initiatives such as Boom360.
With his new position, Fuat Murat will lead the processes of implementing Borusan Cat’s medium and long-term vision, realizing the company’s sustainable growth targets and strengthening its regional leadership.
