Ford F-150 production resumes growth, up 12% in March 2026

Ford F-150 production resumed growth in 2026, with output rising 12% in March to 50,097 units. Michigan plant led gains, while Kansas City saw a slight decline.
After facing some challenges, production of these models has now successfully resumed. In fact, Ford F-150 output has been growing month-over-month since the start of 2026, and this upward trend continued through March.Reports indicate that production of the Ford F-150 at the Michigan plant increased from 22,379 units in February to 28,916 units in March. This represents a gain of 6,537 pickup trucks, or just over 29 percent. Meanwhile, output at the Kansas City assembly plant saw a slight decline, falling from 22,361 units to 21,181 units—a drop of 1,180 units, or roughly 5 percent.Despite the dip in Kansas City, total Ford F-150 production for March reached 50,097 units. This marks an increase of 5,357 pickups compared to the previous month and represents nearly a 12 percent rise from February’s total of 44,740 units.
