F1 World Championship 2026, here we go
After a very short winter, Formula 1 is ready to return to the track with a renewed face and cars resulting from the regulatory revolution. Tomorrow the first official sessions of the World Championship will take place in Melbourne, and we will have a first indication of the initial hierarchies of the championship. To anticipate FP1 (scheduled for 2.30 and which you can follow with our live news) there will be the first “airing” of the opening titles of 2026.
The now iconic theme song has been slightly lengthened in the initial part since it has to “host” the two drivers of the Cadillac: it starts with the Americans and with Sergio Perez jingleswhich traditionally ends with the reigning world champion, Lando Norris.
The video
This is the video of the theme song.
Like that of 2025, the theme song for 2026 also follows the criterion of the latest manufacturers’ ranking, scrolling from bottom to top. “Moving up” criterion also for the order of teammates: first the one who scored the fewest points in 2025, then the “first driver”.
Valtteri seems particularly happy with the result Bottaswho as usual displays self-irony and is pleased with the pose chosen for the video. It will most likely occupy the last positions on the grid, but at least among the social “memes” it will be the most popular.
