Melbourne: Nissan’s Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) Dealer Network is extensive, spanning over 90 dealer outlets in key markets across Australia, and with many more outlets set to come online in the next six months. As the eagerly anticipated Nissan ARIYA prepares for its launch down under, Nissan Australia confirms that its Nissan BEV dealers are ready, and continue to meet the Japanese brand’s stringent qualification criteria.
To support the delivery of total customer satisfaction, members of the Nissan BEV Network maintain the highest levels of product and technical expertise through specialised, and ongoing training, equip their Dealership outlets with charging infrastructure, invest in BEV tooling, PPE, and stock a variety of Genuine Nissan replacement parts & accessories.
“Nissan customers expect, and receive, the highest levels of service and support from our experienced dealership network, and while ARIYA might be an entirely new offering for Australia, our commitment to our customers doesn’t change,” says Ben Hamilton, Director Sales & Dealer Network Development, Nissan Oceania.
“I’m thrilled to see just how committed our dealer network is to ARIYA, with sales and aftersales teams refreshing their BEV credentials as part of our EV Dealer Network, all ready to support our electric vehicle customers wherever they go, right across the country.”
The support provided by the BEV Dealer Network also combines with the announcement of the ARIYA’s charging offers from launch, which are designed to make ARIYA ownership as easy as possible.
The top-grade ARIYA Evolve comes with a three-phase on-board charger as standard. This on-board charger is the key component that allows for significantly faster home charging compared to a single-phase on-board charger. However, for the ARIYA’s September launch in Australia, Nissan Australia is also offering a three-phase on-board charger upgrade (valued at $3,000 MSRP) at no extra cost, on a limited number of purchases of an Engage, Advance or Advance+ grade ARIYA, while stocks last+++.
To take full advantage of this in-vehicle launch upgrade, customers can also receive a free Autel Maxicharger 22kW AC home charger valued at $1,479 (installation costs not included)*** supplied through Nissan’s charging partner, JET Charge.
Homes with three-phase power will be able to charge an ARIYA with a three-phase on-board charger from 10 percent to 100 percent in between 3.5 and 4.5 hours, depending on battery size. This is a massive time-saver compared to the typical 9 to 12.5 hours required with a standard 7.4kW single-phase charger (in either the home or on-board charger). For homes with a single-phase power supply, the Autel Maxicharger will deliver power at 7.4kW.
“We wanted to ensure we reward our first ARIYA customers with a strong value-add in both vehicle spec, but also with the addition of a great, future-ready home charger,” says Warwick Daly, Deputy Director Marketing & Mobility, Nissan Oceania. Both the on-board charger and free home charger offer will be available for a limited time, whilst stocks last.
A broad and qualified dealer network, home charging made easy, and an industry-leading 10-year, 300,000km1 warranty, when serviced with Nissan, all ensure peace of mind is a standard feature with every Nissan ARIYA grade.
The service-activated warranty is part of the Nissan MORE program which also includes a Five-year Flat Price Servicing Program2 and up to 10 years of Roadside Assistance3.
In addition to the above, all ARIYA variants are also covered by Nissan’s Lithium-Ion Battery Capacity Warranty, which means the vehicle’s battery is warranted against excessive capacity loss for a period of 8 Years or 160,000 km>>, whichever comes first.
