The Cobredia distribution group is making adjustments to its facilities as part of its development. The Breton distributor first announced changes to its Toyota dealership in Morlaix (29). Originally founded in La Croix-Rouge, the company is now moving to a brand new location in the commercial district of Saint-Martin-des-Champs. The group states that this relocation should allow the Toyota T25 to meet its new standards and benefit from a greater position “next to major commercial brands”.
The distributor says it created the site to focus on the space, improve customer experience and support, and expand its aftermarket and used vehicle business. “This new Toyota plant in Morlaix marks an important step for the Cobredia group. We wanted to offer our customers a dealership that meets the brand’s latest standards, capable of supporting the development of the business in the coming years,” assures Cobredia group president François Picard.
New concession of 1,000 m²
The site offers a total surface area of 1,000 m² and includes a 500 m² showroom for VN and second-hand vehicles and a 500 m² workshop for maintenance and repair. As the group explains, the Toyota T25 is a concept from the Japanese manufacturer that aims to make its dealerships more modern and inviting. At the same time, in order to reduce the environmental impact, the building includes photovoltaic panels and a wastewater recovery and recycling system in a special tank.
The Morlaix dealership had 203 VN sales and 195 VO sales per year. At the aftermarket level the facility records 5,000 workshop entries per year. According to Cobredia, the move will create jobs, including three additional positions, bringing the team to sixteen employees.
The Cobredia group’s Toyota network brings together 18 dealerships located in Brittany, including Toyota Professional, specifically in Lorient (56), Quimper (29), Brest (29), Saint-Brieuc (22) and Vannes (56). It is aimed at both individuals and professionals, offering personalized mobility solutions based on proximity, expertise and quality of service.

Reconstruction in Brest
The group is restructuring in Brest as well as Morlaix. Thus, the Opel dealership, historically located on Boulevard de l’Europe, is now moving to rue Gouesnou. Blitz joins the site of other brands in the Stellantis galaxy, including Fiat, Alfa Romeo, Jeep and Abarth. “This merger makes it possible to pool expertise, strengthen the services offered to customers and bring together the brands of the manufacturer Stellantis,” the Breton distributor states in its press release.

The former Opel site on Boulevard de l’Europe will not remain empty for long, as it will host the Skoda brand in a few months. Therefore, the brand will benefit from more space. Thus, the former facility of the Czech brand will be used for the group’s bodywork activities with the integration of the Cobredia Carrosserie unit. “This future facility will be part of the new Cobredia Carrosserie standard, which has already been successfully implemented in Morlaix and Saint-Brieuc,” the group adds in the press release. New generation organs with “optimized flow organization” and “strengthened service quality”, according to Cobredia.
