French automotive giant Citroën left 2025 behind with important records in the Turkish market. The brand, which reached the highest sales volume in Türkiye with 71 thousand 440 units, broke a record with a share of 5.2 percent in the total market. Stating that they strongly represented Citroën in the global arena in 2025, which closed with a record, Citroën Turkey Brand Director Bora Duran said, “As Turkey, we completed the year as Citroën’s second largest market globally. This second place, after France, the main market of the brand, is a clear indication of how accurate our work is and how much the consumers in our country value our brand.” He said, “Every 5 passenger cars sold in 2025 Stating that Citroën’s first car is electric, Bora Duran said, “This made us the 4th most preferred electric vehicle brand in Türkiye. Berlingo, our successful model in the light commercial vehicle segment, continued to increase its strength in 2025. “Last year, we sold 14 thousand 844 Berlingo units and increased our share in the light commercial vehicle market by 1.3 points compared to the previous year,” he said.

Citroën, one of the most established manufacturers in automotive history with its innovative and high-tech models that prioritize comfort, continues to grow rapidly in the Turkish market. Leaving behind another successful year, the brand closed the year 2025 with a historical record sales figure of 71 thousand 440 units. It is also a success that this figure, which is the highest sales figure in the brand’s history in Turkey, was achieved despite the fact that key players such as Citroën C3 and C3 Aircross were not in the market in the first 5 months of the year. Citroën Türkiye, which launched 6 new models in 2025, increased its hybrid and electric options in its product range. This enabled the brand to increase its electric share in passenger vehicle sales to a remarkable rate of 21.5 percent.
Citroën’s second largest market globally!
Completing the total electric vehicle market as the 4th brand, Citroën Türkiye achieved another important success by ranking second in the B segment electric vehicle market. Stating that Citroën broke a record with sales of 63 thousand 153 units in Türkiye in 2023, Citroën Turkey Brand Director Bora Duran said, “2025 was the year of a new and much stronger record for us. With the record sales of 71,440 units, we received a share of 5.2 percent from the total market and continued the strong course in our performance.” he said. Emphasizing that they strongly represented Citroën in the global arena in 2025, which closed with a record, Bora Duran continued: “As Turkey, we completed the year as the second largest market for Citroën. This second place, after France, the main market of the brand, is a clear indication of how accurate our work is and how much the consumers in our country value our brand. Of course, some models were the driving force for us in this success. For example, our C4 X model is one of the domestic cars in Türkiye.” Then it became the best-selling imported model and reached a sales figure of over 23 thousand. Similarly, we achieved significant momentum with our electric vehicles. 1 in every 5 passenger vehicles we sold was an electric vehicle. This made us the 4th most preferred electric vehicle brand in Türkiye. Our successful model in the light commercial vehicle segment, Berlingo, continued to increase its strength in 2025. We sold 14 thousand 844 light commercial vehicles in the market. “We increased our share by 1.3 points compared to the previous year,” he said.
