In the United States, the average transaction price for a new Buick vehicle rose slightly in October 2025, compared to the same period the year before, and marks the eighth consecutive monthly increase for the brand.
According to data provided by Cox Automotive and Kelley Blue Book, Buick vehicles transacted at an average price of $36,317 in October, compared to $35,332 in October 2024, representing a 2.8-percent increase. That’s also a $4 drop from the September 2025 calculation, when the Tri-Shield brand’s vehicles boasted an ATP of $36,321.
Across all brands, the average transaction price for a new vehicle in the U.S. reached $49,766 in October 2025, a year-over-year rise of 2.1 percent and a month-over-month decrease of just 0.4 percent. Simply put, Buick’s performance fell perfectly in line with the overall industry in the country.
“October’s dip in average transaction prices was anticipated and reflects a natural market adjustment after September’s record highs,” said Cox Automotive Executive Analyst Erin Keating. “Even with the pullback, prices remain elevated year over year. Fortunately for automakers, there is continued strength in consumer demand, especially from well-heeled households. Consumers remain engaged, and while affordability challenges persist, the industry is adapting with incentives and product mix shifts,” she added.
As for GM’s other brands, Chevy’s average transaction price crested at $51,078 for a year-over-year increase of 7.6 percent. Cadillac’s ATP amounted to $84,579, or 22.7 percent more than in October 2024. GMC’s average transaction price was set at $66,550, a 1.5 percent year-over-year improvement. As a whole, the General Motors new vehicle average transaction price reached $56,181 in October 2025, a 7.9-percent improvement over the same period last year, and a 2.2-percent increase over September 2025 results.
Starting at $48k, the Buick Enclave is showing a sales increase of almost 50 percent so far in 2025, compared to the 2024 calendar year, the main reason explaining the brand’s eighth consecutive ATP increase this year. Meanwhile, Buick Envision and Buick Encore GX have remained relatively stable, with respective increases of 7 percent and 1 percent. As for the Buick Envista, sales have increased by almost 19 percent so far in 2025, counterbalancing the Enclave in the brand’s lineup ATP calculation.
Cox Automotive and KBB also stated that ATP of full-size pickup trucks hit an all-time in October 2025 at $66,462 while the average MSRP (asking price, not transaction price) reached $70,351, with incentives representing only 8.4 percent of the average transaction price. On the flipside, EV sales expectedly nosedived by 48.9 percent, compared to September 2025, after the discontinuation EV tax credit of up to $7,500, and by 30.3 percent compared to October 2024. However, none of these statistics apply to the Buick brands.
