BMW iX3 Long: new electric generation with long wheelbase in Beijing 2026

BMW is introducing the iX3 Long, an electric crossover with an extended wheelbase, more than 900 km of autonomy and the new sixth-generation eDrive, at the 2026 Beijing Auto Show.

The front features a three-dimensional illuminated grille and integrated lighting graphics. The taillights are L-shaped with depth effect and gradual illumination. The new iX3 has an 800-volt architecture under its body and uses BMW’s sixth-generation eDrive system. New cylindrical cell battery technology and an updated energy management system are also used.
