The situation at 1pm on Monday 26 January The first morning of testing in Barcelona – from what filters through the web – has already recorded a lot of material between times, laps and red flags which are and will be the order of the day with all new cars and power units. Starting from the interruptions, there have been three red flags so far. The first was ’caused’ by Franco Colapinto’s Alpine stopping on the track. The A526 was then seen again on the track in the hands of the Argentine driver. The second stop was forced by Gabriel Bortoleto’s Audi, which stopped in Turn-11. Just around 1pm, Liam Lawson’s Racing Bulls stopped. In terms of times – the ‘livetiming’ taken into consideration is not official and therefore we use the conditional – Isack Hadjar with the Red Bull would have stopped the clock in 1’18″835, almost two seconds faster than Andrea Kimi Antonelli’s Mercedes. In terms of laps covered, the ‘marathon runner’ of the morning would have been Esteban Ocon with 66 laps completed.
