Alpine’s A110 Future debuts at Goodwood Hill

Alpine’s decision to launch the A110 Future as a development vehicle signals that it is still far from committing to a final specification. Alpine unveiled the A110 Future development vehicle at the Goodwood Festival of Speed on 9 July 2026, with Formula 1 driver Pierre Gasly at the wheel of the prototype on a hill climb alongside the Duke of Richmond. The event revealed new technical details about the Alpine Performance Platform (APP), the modular architecture that underpins the third-generation A110 electric sports car. APP is designed to cover a variety of body styles and powertrain configurations from a single platform. The A110 Future’s 800V battery system splits energy 25% front and 75% rear using cell-to-pack technology within a high-pressure die-cast aluminum chassis that contributes to structural rigidity, while mimicking the overall height and low riding position of the current A110. The dual rear electric drivetrain includes dual e-motors, 3-in-1 e-machines with permanent magnet synchronous motors spinning to 21,500 rpm, paired with a 400V boost charging system, and Active Torque Vectoring 2.0 with silicon carbide inverters. Pierre Gasly said in a statement: “It was great to be among the first to shape the future of Alpine by running around Goodwood Hill in the Alpine A110 FUTURE today. It’s a special opportunity at this event for Alpine to unveil the next product in its range in front of such passionate fans. Alpine continues to show that an electric sports car can be lighter, sharper and truly enjoyable to drive. I’m absolutely excited to see what the future brings and I hope everyone enjoyed the show today.”
