Built on the Alliance CMF-B platform, the Tekton takes its styling cues from the Patrol and targets the competitive C-SUV segment with 1.0-litre and 1.3-litre turbocharged petrol engine options; The larger unit produces 163 PS and 280 Nm of power. The cabin integrates Google’s built-in services like Maps, Assistant and Play, as well as adaptive cruise control, autonomous emergency braking, lane keeping assist and blind spot warning. Tekton frames India as both a primary growth market and a strategic export hub within the Re:Nissan framework, the clearest expression yet of its partnership-driven manufacturing model built on Renault’s infrastructure. Drawing on its 75-year SUV heritage as a point of differentiation, the model targets the Middle Eastern and African markets, where the automaker sees room for growth. “We are building a stronger and more competitive Nissan in India.
