An AI assistant that replaces manual report generation could transform the way fleet managers interact with operational data at scale Michelin Connected Fleet has integrated an artificial intelligence (AI) assistant into its MyConnectedFleet platform, allowing fleet managers to query operational data via natural language to retrieve fuel consumption reports, driver performance analysis and vehicle maintenance status. The tool is currently available to customers in 10 countries in Europe and North America. The assistant covers fleets of heavy goods vehicles, passenger transport and light commercial vehicles and provides information in written or visual form on fuel consumption, driver behavior and trip data. Designed as a closed system, it processes queries coming directly from the MyConnectedFleet portal without revealing data outside. Sophie Foucque, Chief Executive Officer of Michelin Connected Fleet Europe, Africa and Australia, said in a statement: “The AI Assistant is a natural evolution of our DNA built on supporting our customers. Developed together with some of our largest customers, this tool offers a more intuitive way to interact with vehicle usage data while eliminating the need to create multiple reports. Augmented fleet managers can therefore focus entirely on the performance of their operations.” Michelin Connected Fleet’s survey of more than 400 fleet operators in France and the UK revealed that 78% of respondents believe artificial intelligence will reshape the industry.
