This could allow the powerplant to meet new environmental standards and remain on the market after 2027.The engine in question is a 2.5-liter inline-five turbocharged unit (EA855 series) that has become a signature feature of RS 3 models and some Cupra variants. It has won numerous awards and is widely regarded as one of the most charismatic engines in the industry.
