Chery is continuing its European expansion and preparing to launch its new Exlantix brand in Spain in 2027. Following the success of Omoda and Jaecoo, the company is now targeting a more technologically advanced and premium segment.The Exlantix launch is scheduled for the first half of 2027. While the brand already operates internationally under the Exeed name, in Europe it will be positioned as a separate premium lineup. The primary goal is to carve out a niche in the tech-focused electric vehicle market and compete with European and American manufacturers.Initially, the lineup will consist of two models: the Exlantix ES sedan and the Exlantix ET crossover. Both vehicles belong to the E-segment and measure over 4.9 meters in length. The focus is on a fully electric platform, though plug-in hybrid versions will follow later, mirroring BYD’s strategy in the European market.Chery is aggressively expanding its European presence by introducing multiple brands with distinct positioning. Exlantix will serve as the flagship for its technological direction and aims to strengthen the group’s standing in the premium segment. Additionally, the brand is developing new models, including the ES GT and EX8, which could arrive in Europe after their debut in China.Chery is moving to the next phase of its expansion: from mass-market models to premium offerings.
