Volkswagen UK is giving customers a limited window to secure added value on some of its most popular models, with a new two-week finance offer delivering an additional £1,000 deposit contribution on selected vehicles throughout February.
Running from Monday 2 February to Monday 16 February, the promotion applies to new Polo, Golf, Tiguan, ID.3, ID.4 and ID.5 models when purchased on a personal contract plan through Volkswagen Financial Services. To qualify, vehicles must be ordered within the promotional period and handed over to customers before the end of September.
The offer is designed to make Volkswagen ownership more accessible at a time when buyers remain cost-conscious, while still keen to invest in proven, high-quality vehicles. By boosting the deposit contribution, Volkswagen is effectively reducing monthly payments for customers financing their purchase, adding further appeal to an already competitive range.
Among the eligible models is the Volkswagen Golf, a cornerstone of the brand’s UK success. The Golf was Volkswagen UK’s top-selling model in 2025 and ranked as the sixth best-selling car overall in the country. Decades after its original launch, it continues to resonate with buyers thanks to its balance of everyday usability, refined driving dynamics and broad engine and trim choices.
The Tiguan, Volkswagen’s best-selling model globally, also features in the promotion. In the UK, it secured a place among the top 10 best-selling cars last year, underlining its popularity in the competitive mid-size SUV segment. Adding to its appeal, the Tiguan is currently available with extended 24-hour test drives until the end of February, giving customers more time to experience the vehicle in real-world conditions before making a decision.
Completing the combustion-engined line-up in the offer is the Polo, a long-standing favourite with British motorists. In 2025, the Polo celebrated its 50th anniversary, marking half a century as one of Volkswagen’s most recognisable and enduring nameplates. Its legacy was further cemented with accolades including Best Car of the Half Century, awarded as part of the Best Cars of the Year – The New Car World Championships. Compact, efficient and consistently refined, the Polo remains a strong entry point into the Volkswagen range.

The promotion also extends to Volkswagen’s electric models, reflecting the brand’s continued push into electrification. The ID.3, ID.4 and ID.5 were the first vehicles built on Volkswagen’s dedicated MEB electric platform, which was designed from the ground up to maximise efficiency, interior space and driving range. Depending on model and specification, these vehicles offer ranges from 222 to 371 miles, catering to a wide variety of driving needs.
Strong demand for these electric models helped drive a 45 per cent increase in Volkswagen electric car sales in 2025 compared with the previous year, supported by the introduction of the ID.7 and ID.7 Tourer. This momentum has played a key role in Volkswagen maintaining its position as the UK’s top-selling new-car brand for the past five consecutive years.
For customers considering the switch to electric, the ID.3, ID.4 and ID.5 also benefit from Volkswagen’s ID. Promise, available until 31 March. This ‘drive and decide’ initiative is aimed at reducing uncertainty around electric vehicle ownership. Under the scheme, customers can return their vehicle between 80 and 100 days after purchase if it does not suit their lifestyle or expectations, offering an added layer of reassurance during the transition from combustion power to electric mobility.
Together, the £1,000 additional deposit contribution and the ID. Promise form part of a broader strategy by Volkswagen to support customers through changing market conditions, evolving technology and shifting mobility preferences.
Further details on the February deposit contribution, the ID. Promise and extended test drives are available from Volkswagen UK retailers and via the Volkswagen.co.uk website.
