Renault Trucks introduced the new Renault Trucks E-Tech T versions that can travel 600 km on a single charge: Renault Trucks E-Tech T 585 and Renault Trucks E-Tech T 780.
Designed to meet the special needs of transporters, the Renault Trucks E-Tech T 780 model focuses on longer range and the Renault Trucks E-Tech T 585 focuses on higher carrying capacity. The Renault Trucks E-Tech T 540 4×2 model continues to be offered for regional distribution duties.
Performance enhancing innovator technology
The range of Renault Trucks E-Tech T 780 and T 585 models has been increased by integrating the electric axle system. Thanks to the e-axle, electric motors and transmission are brought together at the rear of the vehicle. This structure creates space for additional battery packs on the sides of the chassis.
Both models feature L-shaped, high energy density NCA (Nickel, Cobalt, Aluminum) lithium-ion batteries designed to adapt to the new layout. Renault Trucks guarantees the performance of these batteries for up to 8 years or 1 million kilometers.
Renault Trucks E-Tech T 585, with a battery capacity of 585 kWh, offers a range of 460 km* on a single charge and provides the highest carrying capacity in this vehicle series. With its 780 kWh capacity, Renault Trucks E-Tech T 780 reaches a range of 600 km* and is designed for transporters who need a longer range.
To make the most of the pauses, both models can be charged at stations compatible with the ultra-fast Megawatt Charging System (MCS) that offers up to 720 kW of power.
These stations can provide a range of up to 350 km in a 45-minute driver break. Additionally, the warehouses offer charging with standard CCS (up to 350 kW). In addition to these developments, Renault Trucks is also renewing the existing Renault Trucks E-Tech T 540 4×2 model. This model can now reach a range of 450 km on a single charge.
Comfort, maneuver ability And optimized has been load capacity
Developed for long-distance transportation, Renault Trucks 6×2 tractor versions E-Tech T 585 and T 780 are equipped with integrated air suspension; It offers higher driving comfort and superior maneuverability during loading.
Thanks to their rear axles, these new models provide maneuverability similar to 4×2 trailers. This lightweight, steerable and liftable axle also reduces tire wear on low-load return routes.
Renault Trucks E Tech T 585 offers a load capacity of up to 28 tonnes, depending on local regulations.
