408 Kilometer Range Version of Frontera Electric is in Turkey
German automobile manufacturer Opel continues to increase the options it offers in Frontera, which recently hit the roads. In this context, a new version that offers more range has been added to the Opel Frontera Electric. The Frontera Electric “Long Range” model, which is offered for sale in our country for 1 million 751 thousand liras with its GS hardware level, can travel up to 408 kilometers between charging breaks (WLTP) with its new 54 kWs battery. When the long-range version needs to be recharged, its battery can be charged from 20% to 80% in just half an hour at the 100 kW fast charging station.

Combining superior driving pleasure with German quality, Opel achieved significant success in a short time with the Frontera it introduced in the spring. The family-friendly SUV Opel Frontera, which stands out for being accessible to everyone, now has a new option with a longer range in its electric model. Frontera Electric “Long Range”, which is offered for sale at 1 million 751 thousand liras with its GS equipment level, is offered for sale with a difference of only 100 thousand liras from the standard range. The Frontera Electric “Long Range” model comes with a new 54 kWh battery and offers a range of up to 408 kilometers in emission-free driving (WLTP1).
Long journeys are now more attractive
All Frontera models offer a characteristic, robust design, as well as a large interior volume and many smart solutions. A new longer-range fully electric version has now been added to the Frontera Electric model with a hybrid version and 44 kWs battery, which has been available since the day it was launched. While battery capacity was increased by 10 kWh, energy consumption decreased. In this way, the Frontera Electric “Long Range” model can travel up to 408 kilometers locally, emission-free, between charging breaks (WLTP1). Thus, Opel now offers a choice for its users who prefer fully electric vehicles: For those who will mostly drive in the city, the model with a small battery and offering a range of 305 kilometers (WLTP1) is the ideal choice, while for those who want to travel longer distances, Frontera Elektrik’s “Long Range” model with a large battery is now among the options. The long-range version can charge its battery from 20% to 80% in just half an hour at the 100 kW fast charging station.
High-end equipment even at entry level
Regardless of the engine option, large interior volume and superior flexibility stand out in all Frontera models. Frontera offers a wide range of usage flexibility with a load capacity of up to approximately 1,600 liters and a 60:40 split rear seat arrangement. Thanks to the upright design of the sides and rear windows, Frontera offers ample space, especially for passengers in the rear seat. In addition, Frontera also has smart features that make journeys more enjoyable. These features, ranging from flexible handle straps to smartphone pockets in the seat backs and a wireless charger, are offered even in entry-level models. In addition, Opel is once again making the innovations in its patented Intelli-Seatile seats, which feature a central ergonomic recess for the driver and front seat passenger, accessible to a wide range of buyers.
