Türkiye’s well-established textile and military boot manufacturer YDS Group (Yakupoğlu A.Ş.) once again chose MAN in its investment in renewing its service fleet. In line with its employee comfort and occupational safety targets, the company renewed its existing fleet with 5 MAN Lion’s Intercity R61 buses.

YDS Group (Yakupoğlu A.Ş.), which produces world-class products such as technical boots, shoes, textiles, ballistic glasses and tents in Türkiye’s military and security field, has further strengthened its long-standing cooperation with MAN with its new vehicle investment. The company, which prioritizes its quality-oriented approach not only in production processes but also in the daily life quality, occupational safety and comfort of its employees, once again chose MAN when renewing its personnel service fleet. In this context, the company renewed the MAN vehicles, which it has been using without any problems for many years in its existing fleet, with 5 MAN Lion’s Intercity R61 buses, with a sustainability and efficiency-oriented fleet management approach. The new vehicles were delivered at a special ceremony.

MAN Lion’s Intercity R61s offer safety, comfort and efficiency together

MAN Lion’s Intercity R61 buses, with a capacity of 59 passengers, offer high performance with their 330 horsepower MAN D15 diesel engine. Standing out with their modern and ergonomic interior design, advanced safety equipment and low fuel consumption, the vehicles reduce operating costs and maximize satisfaction, efficiency and sustainability in personnel transportation.

“Our investments will continue in 2026”

Speaking at the delivery ceremony, Yakupoğlu A.Ş. Vedat Yakupoğlu, Chairman of the Board of Directors, stated that they preferred MAN again for the new service vehicle investment and said:

“As a company, we attach special importance to employee satisfaction. In order to further this satisfaction, we made a strategic decision to renew our MAN vehicles, which have been in our fleet for many years and which we have been using with great satisfaction, with MAN brand Lion’s Intercity model vehicles. As a result of this decision, we received our first 5 vehicles. Our efforts to make our current vehicle fleet more modern, safer and more efficient will continue with the same determination in 2026.”

“Our vehicles will carry Yakupoğlu’s service quality even further”

MAN Truck and Bus Trade Inc. Public Sales Manager Taylan Aslanoğlu emphasized that MAN vehicles are “reliable companions” for businesses and said:

“We are very pleased to take our long-established cooperation with YDS Group one step further with our new Lion’s Intercity R61 buses. We believe that with the high safety standards, high level of comfort and operational efficiency offered by our vehicles, Yakupoğlu will further improve its service quality and add value to the operational strength of the company. We hope that this delivery will be beneficial for both parties.”
