CEO position change at Brisa:
Vecih Yılmaz took office as Brisa CEO
The CEO position change took place at Brisa, the leader of the Turkish tire industry. Following the retirement of Haluk Kürkçü, who has served as Brisa CEO since 2020, Vecih Yılmaz took over the position of CEO as of January 1, 2026.
Evaluating the change of duty, Sabancı Holding Strategic Investments President Burak Orhun said: “Haluk Kürkçü played a very important role in Brisa’s growth journey. We thank him for what he brought to our company. We believe that Vecih Yılmaz’s experience in the Sabancı Group is in strong harmony with Brisa’s goals for the coming period. Under Yılmaz’s leadership, Brisa will take its strategies focused on sustainable growth, effective financial management, innovation and efficiency even further. We have full confidence. I hope this change will be beneficial for all our stakeholders.”
Vecih Yılmaz, who took office as Brisa CEO, made the following statements in his evaluation:

About Vecih Yılmaz:
Vecih Yılmaz, who completed his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration at Middle East Technical University and his master’s degree in Financial Economics at Galatasaray University, started his career at Deloitte. Since 2009, he has held senior management positions in Sabancı Holding, Enerjisa Enerji and Çimsa within the Sabancı Group. He also held finance leadership roles at Kibar Group. Yılmaz had been serving as Akçansa CEO since 2022.
