According to data from the Fraunhofer Institute for Systems and Innovation Research (ISI), electric vehicle sales are growing steadily worldwide. Global battery electric vehicle (BEV) sales, which were 10.3 million in 2024, increased by 23% and reached 12.7 million units in 2025.
