Advanced Technology for Electric Vehicles: EcoContact 7
Electric vehicles put great pressure on tires due to their battery weight and instantaneous high torque production. To meet these challenges, Continental developed the “aerodimple” technology inspired by golf balls. This technology, used in the new EcoContact 7 model, reduces air turbulence in the tire sidewalls, allowing the vehicle to spend less energy to move and maximizes efficiency. The company, which introduced the first energy-efficient tire Conti EcoContact in 1993, is advancing its technology day by day with EcoContact 7, the seventh generation of the series.
